Anti Bullying Ambassadors

A group of 10 students attended Anti-Bullying Ambassador training. This was a super exciting day for all of us. First they introduced to us what the 'Diana Award' is and what it is about. After this we learnt some British sign language. Ask any of the students how to clap in sign language! We discussed how to identify a bullying behaviour and what an anti-bullying ambassador should look like. We all had a go at public speaking using a microphone to a whole lecture theatre full of different schools! Our students were so confident.

We are aiming to create lots of exciting anti-bullying projects over the next year. To earn our inclusion badge we are starting with introducing BSL (British Sign Language) in every celebration assembly each week. We hope this is a nice way to celebrate diversity and inclusion in our school.

Keep an eye out for our Anti-Bullying ambassadors around school.
