Cambois Primary School receives an amount of money from the government which is ring fenced for sport. School sports are a big part of the curriculum at Cambois Primary School. We aim to use the money to increase participation, increase the number of pupils is sport and leading healthy lifestyles.
We tailor our curriculum around the needs of our children and families. We take part in local competitions and events hosted by the School Sports Partnership. As a school we take advantage of any sports based activities that are offered to the school too. We have had visits from the Newcastle United Football Club Foundation and had cycling with some of the British Cycling team members in previous years. We are very fortunate to have bikes in school. We have a a full programme of cycling with a specialist biking coach, Richard Rothwell.
