Cambois Primary are proud to be taking part in 'Commando Joe's' takes over St James Park day. The day will be full of activities for children and there will be a focus on the RESPECT acronym working on Resilience, Empathy, Self-Awareness, Passion, Excellence, Communication & Teamwork.

At Cambois Primary School WE are taking part in the  YST National School Sport Week.

This is a week to celebrate the vital role of PE and school sport to young people’s well being.

Fit as a Falcon:
 
Year 1,2,3 and 4 have been working with Newcastle Falcons. We have learnt rugby skills, how to play rugby and the importance of a healthy and blanched diet. Some children went to Kingston Park Stadium to play rugby. 
 
Family football
 
In addition to working with the Newcastle United Foundation during school time, we have 'family football after school on Monday. Parents and carers join children for classroom activities and football. 
 

Football tournament 

8 of our KS2 girls took part in a football tournament at Hirst Welfare Centre. For most of the girls it was their first ever competition. The girls did very well and we are very proud of them. 

 
Tennis
Well done to the children out of Years 3 & 4 who took part in the tennis competition.
Hockey
Well done to Year 5 & 6 who took part in the hockey competition.
 
Tag Rugby
Well done to Years 3 & 4 who took part in the tag rugby competition.
Dance Festival
Well done to Reception, Years 1,2,3,4 who took part in the dance festival.
 
Gymnastics Festival
Well done to the children who took part in the gymnastics festival.
 
Multi Skills Year 1 & 2
On Thursday 15th January Year 1 & 2 took part in a multi skills festival organised by the SSP. Everyone did fantastically! Well done!
